I have never left a review before but the staff were so friendly and the scallops were cooked perfectly. I was trying to find a place to eat and read reviews on trip advisor and yelp and decided on the town's Chinese restaurant. It has the typical Chinese menu but what makes it worth it is the prep. I had Rainbow something that had shrimp, scallops and imitation crab with a light sauce. I usually go for the heat but was worn out from the road. The shrimp and scallops were perfectly cooked. For those who are picky, you know what l mean. They were so tender yummmmm! And the vegetables just made a nice comfort food dish. I was told that each dish was made to order. You could tell. I got there and the only open table had just been vacated. A Chinese girl( maybe daughter) Said just let me clean the table. She then wiped down the table and benches on each side until they were immaculate. I regret not telling her what a great job she did with the other staff and hope they read this. It was a nice dinner and plan to go back when I visit relatives there again.

Very nice place to eat. Food was great and service was better. You can't always find great Chinese restaurants in a small town but they have it here.

Got the veggie lo mein. Would not recommend. Sauce was watery and the distinct aroma of stale pee wafted from the soggy noodles. White rice was an adventure, with at least one crunch uncooked grain in every bite. Crab Rangoon was good tho. Friendly service.

My wife and I were passing through the area and decided to try Chuong Garden. Nice little restaurant for rural downtown Iowa. The décor was okay although the table chairs are badly in need of upholstering. Service was quick and friendly. We split the hunan shrimp with fried rice and got a cup of hot and sour soup and split an eggroll order. The soup was pretty good. A bit spicier than hot and sour soup found in most places. The eggrolls were not eggrolls but instead fried spring rolls (egg rolls use a flour wrapper while spring rolls use a crispy rice wrapper). Definitely home made but a bit greasy. The hunan shrimp dish was good. Well cooked shrimp. Assortment of veggies. The hunan sauce was mildly spicy and a bit bland in my opinion. The fried rice a bit better than average. Prices were very reasonable. All in all this is a nice alternative restaurant for a small town in Iowa.

I love this place! The good is amazing all the time. Very good Chinese food is not easy to find but this place is the exception! Service always prompt and friendly. Food delicious & freshly made.
Best Crab Rangoons hands down. Everything I've had here has surpassed my expectations. Two thumbs up!
